Therapeutic riding lessons are available to residents of Lanark and Renfrew Counties and the Greater Ottawa Area who have physical and/or developmental disabilities.
Applicants age 3 and up will receive a home visit to discuss their needs and goals and to determine their ability to participate in the program. Riders must be able to sit upright on their own and obtain a doctor's referral endorsing their participation.

The process to apply for a spot in one of our programs includes filling out the application form.
If you are a New Rider, after you have completed and submitted this application form, we will be in contact with you in order to arrange an in-person visit to meet the applicant, to discuss their participation in the riding program and to answer any questions you may have.
If you are a returning rider, we will be in contact to confirm if we have a lesson spot available for you and if any of your forms on file require updating.
Intent to ride applications are accepted as of January 1 of each year and are reviewed with lesson spots allocated on a first come, first serve basis for aplicants that meet the qualifications critria.
